Tecno POVA 2 Unboxing And First Impressions ⚡ 7000mAh Battery, MediaTek Helio G85, 6.9” FHD+ & More

Intro Friends, we have the Tecno POVA 2 here & I should ask Tecno the reason behind its unique & different name But the phone comes with a lot of big things. We’re going to unbox it & will give you its first impressions. We have already unboxed its predecessor, Tecno POVA 1 & it was good. Now we’ll look at Tecno POVA 2. It comes with a silver box with 7000mAh(Battery) written on it & nothing much. Unboxing – That’s a big phone! You get some documentation, a 18W charger, a USB Type C cable. You also get a pre-applied case with the phone, & it’s a good quality case with a small seal on the bottom. Look at the design, & it’s clear that smartphone manufacturers have started experimenting with the design. It’s unique & it’ll definitely stand out.

There’s the POVA branding below. Overall, it’s a big phone. And a scratch guard is already applied. We’ll take it out. Let’s put on the case as the drop test is mandatory, the case fits well though. [Drop Test] No, nothing. [Drop Test] Nothing. The case is quite good, but a snugly fit would’ve been better. In Hand Feel – It’s a big & tall phone, it's not wide so it’ll feel good with big hands but not so much with small hands.

Ports & Buttons – Below, there’s a 3.5mm jack, a USB Type C port & a microphone. On the left there’s a sim card tray. There’s no noise cancelling microphone above. On the right, there’s volume rocker(up & down) & a side-mounted fingerprint sensor with power(on/off) button. Its weight should be around 210-215g, as it has a 7000mAh battery & a big screen, let’s test! Oh! It’s 228g! But the weight distribution is good & so it feels a little lighter. Time to start the big phone! [Boot up audio] The phone has started & we’re done setting it up. Wait, let’s check the sim card tray! It has a dedicated SD card slot which is nice! Let’s look at the display. Wow! That is a BIG display! It’s a 6.9” FHD+ display with 60Hz normal refresh rate & 180Hz touch sampling rate.

Despite being big, the upper & side bezels are thin. Remember the base variant is priced at Rs 11K. And its higher variant is priced at Rs 13K. And with that, I’d say they are thin, & the chin is average too. The overall screen-to-body ratio is above 90%. If you want a big display phone(not a tablet) for multimedia, then this has quite a big display. About 4-5 years ago we had tablets with 7” & now we have smartphones because of the thin bezels & form factor.

Specifications – It comes with Helio G85 SoC, with the base variant 4+64GB(Rs 10,999) & 6+128GB(Rs 12,999). And the storage type is eMMC with LPDDR4X RAM. Battery – It has a huge 7000mAh battery with 18W charging. And it might take 2-2.5 hours to charge 0-100% battery. Tecno claims that it has 46 days of standby time! Sensors – You get all sensors, like the side mounted fingerprint sensor & face unlock which work well. OS UI – It comes with HiOS 7.6 & some preinstalled apps which you can uninstall. Features – There’s a voice changer mode to change your voice during calls, a peek proof mode for privacy.

There’s a Kids mode space for apps to give access/deny access for kids. And a 360 degree flash(LED on front & back). Cameras – It’s a quad camera setup with 48MP primary sensor, 2MP(Macro), 2MP(Depth) & an AI Lens. And you get a center punch hole with an 8MP selfie sensor. I’m showing some photos under normal conditions as we haven’t used it much but they’re good because of 48MP. The 2MP(Macro) & 2MP(Depth) cameras are nothing much to talk about. But the overall camera setup for the price point is good. The selfies are soft & the colors are good under normal light conditions. It’s a feature rich camera, you get 2K time lapse mode, Video Bokeh mode, Slow motion video mode etc. And with 2K time lapse you also get 2K video recording. You get flash lights both on the front(Dual LEDs) and back(Quad LEDs), for the 360 degree flash. It’s beneficial for low light selfies that brighten up, which is good. Performance – It's fun to play BGMI on low-medium settings, because of the big screen We played it on low-medium settings & we didn’t find much frame drops.

On paper the AnTuTu score is near 2.17L, which is ok. With the massive battery, you can binge watch or have long gaming sessions easily. Multimedia – The video viewing experience is going to be enjoyable with the big screen, it’s an FHD+ display & not AMOLED. it has decent viewing angles. And the audio comes from the earpiece as there’s no speaker below. It’s loud, but feels a little muddled so the audio is ok. But the overall multimedia experience will be good.

Especially if you’re watching Netflix with earphones, you’ll enjoy it. You get Widevine L3 support, which should’ve been L1. It also supports Camera2api. The SAR value is within limits & you get FM Radio as well. Connectivity – It has Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi Calling, Dual band WiFi & Bluetooth 5.0. So how is the Tecno POVA 2? I think the pricing is good if you’re looking for a big screen phone as it has a 6.9” screen which is rare in this price range. The 7000mAh battery too is good for long sessions & might last you for 2 days, so you can look at it. For multimedia, the L1 support should’ve been there for HD streaming. But the big screen & battery, are the 2 big highlights of the Tecno POVA 2. If you’re interested in buying it, the product link is in the description. Tecno POVA 5G Unboxing And First Impressions⚡Performance Powerhouse Under Rs.20,000

This is Tecno Pova 5G The first 2 phones were good in specifications, and this phone is next level Some of the things in this phone are added that you won’t get in a Rs 25K phone We’re going to tell you everything about the phone and make sure you watch till the end. But before that make sure to subscribe To the channel and turn on the notification bell so that you get notified as we upload a new video It seems like they’ve spent a lot of money on the box, the packaging looks good.

It comes on Dimensity 900, 8GB+128GB The case has Manchester City written all over it. This is USB Type-A – Type C charging cable with a 18W charger This is a big phone with a 6.9’’ display nearly 7’’. The design looks premium, & i think it is dual-tone because on one hand it has shiny look and kind of grids on the other This doesn't look like a budget phone, it looks premium. Tecno claims The texture is Kevlar They have surprised me in terms of design in a positive way.

The case quality is average It comes with a scratch guard & a case. It should weigh around 210-215gms, let's check it. It weighs 219.3 gms And not just the big screen it also has a 6000mAh battery. At the bottom we have a 3.5MM jack, noise-cancelling microphone A fingerprint sensor & on/off button at the right. This phone looks good from all angles. But it is a fingerprint magnet. I thought it would be hybrid but now you have space for 2 nano sim cards and an SD card slot The storage is expandable upto 512GB. A gasket is also there If you like the phone or the video leave a like This is a 6.95’’ FHD+ screen, IPS LCD screen with 120Hz fast refresh rate & 480 nits brightness. It is decently bright, you won't have any problems except for the harsh sunlight. The screen-body ratio is 91% As the bezels are very slim and the chin is average. The viewing angles are not bad As I said at the start some features you won't get even in Rs 25K phone It comes on Dimensity 900 5G 6nm based processor so with the 6000mAh battery it can easily last for 2 days This is 8GB+128GB with UFS 3.1 storage type & LPDDR5 RAM, so the RAM and storage are flagship level So the antutu score was more than 490K this score comes in the Qualcomm 778 territory The virtual RAM of 3GB is also available (MemFusion).

So this is definitely a performance powerhouse because it costs under Rs 20K The 8GB+128GB variant comes at Rs 19,999 We played BGMI on HDR and Ultra settings & because of the big display the experience was real fun & on this settings we got A constant FPS of 40-44 so if you lower the settings you might get around 55-60 FPS. We played COD on high & very high settings and the experience was great too The one thing that was not that good was the OS, because there are a lot of bloatwares & there are pre-installed apps as well which you can uninstall This comes on HiOS 8.0 which is based on Android 11, Android 12 would've been better.

Tecno is not known for giving updates, I really hope we will get Android 12 updates This OS has a lot of features as well, the display is peek proof, it also has a game space & there are a lot of customizations as well The side-mounted fingerprint is blazing fast. It comes on the latest WiFi 6 along with Bluetooth 6.0 & it also has 11 5G bands It also has Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi calling so the connectivity is top-notch Binge-watching looks fun because of the big display and big battery. AMOLED would’ve been better but they have given 120Hz instead The bottom firing mono speakers are loud but the quality is average.

But because of the big screen multimedia is going to be fun. One interesting thing was it has widevine L3 not L1 it might get an upgrade after the update. Generally in this price range we do not get IP rating but we do get it in this (IPX2) It has FM radio, SAR value within limit & no notification light. And i think i skipped on the battery, so it has 6000mAh battery with a 18W charger. Tecno claims that the battery charges in 33 mins, we did not test it but if it really happens then it is a big plus It has a triple camera setup, though I won't say it, is a dual camera setup because it has 50MP + 2MP + AI so let's just talk about the 50MP photos of primary camera are good because i did not expect the colors, dynamic range & the sharpness to be this good the front we have a 16MP selfie sensor.

I’ll show all the samples on screen, you tell us how you like them .
