Critters Game Brings Out A Crowd And Raises Money!!
On February 18th the CFCW Critters came to Gibbons and took on the Gibbons Volunteer Fire Department in a charity hockey game. Although the Fire Dept put up a fight, they lost to the Critters 18-15. This fun event brought out over 420 people to the Gibbons Arena and through admissions, concession, 50/50’s and corporate sponsorship, we were able to raise over $10,000 in funds and approximately $1,000 of in-kind sponsorship to go towards replacing the outdoor rink. Thank you to all who attended the game and also to those who volunteered their time to work at the game. Also, a HUGE thank you to our corporate sponsors: Atco, Northern Gateway, Select Engineering, Gibbons Guardian Pharmacy, Gibbons Collision Autobody and Sales, Voshell Architecture and Desing, Pro-Ad and Main Street Grill.
